In case of shortage of a medicinal product in Poland, our wholesaler may apply to the Ministry of Health for approval for a temporary admission to trading and import from abroad a larger amount of the medicine that may replace it.
The product imported from abroad does not have to be registered in Poland, but must be admitted to trading in the country from which it is imported.
Intervention imported medicines are sold in original packaging. They can be provided with a Polish-language leaflet or it can be attached as a separate form to the medicine packaging.
